Laptop win64bit ultimate 2nd hard drive wont show

Hi everyone, I have bought a 2nd hard drive as I have 2 Hard drive slots available, but it is not showing up,no hardware find ,disk manager, nothing only the old one shows up the main (old drive slot1 500GB) the new secondary 1TB not showing . Anybody can help please?? Thanks for having a look

Did you initialize the hard drive in Disk Mgmt yet? Look now to see if it's there waiting to be initialized as an MBR or GPT disk. If only for data then I'd initialize it GPT to have as many partitions as you want. If it might be used for an OS at some future point, initialize it MBR but you'll be limited to four Primary partitions, or three Primary and unlimiited Logical (data) partitions.

Yes I checked but it does not show up any where on my system. As if not there. I have a Packard Bell Easy note LG75 laptop.

Check it again, make sure it`s fully connected, it has to show up in the bios in order for you to use it.
