XP was my first install so it's on the C drive and yes I installed Win 7 from within XP, I didn't say I was good at this I have AOMEI Partition Assistant installed on my XP side so I should just wipe the drive with it and start over, right? And not do the install from inside XP?

Well, there`s something else on there besides windows taking up the space.

Why is it labeled E if your booted into Windows 7, it should be labeled C and the other drives should have other letters.

Did you install 7 from within XP ?

Did you boot from the dvd ?

I would install again and delete the entire drive to unallocated space and re install 7.

You should also unplug the other 2 drives when you install 7, that way you can just hook them back up and use the 1 time boot menu key to boot into XP or W7
That cured it AddRam, Thanks for your time and expertise...
