How to give XP priority over Win 7

    Hi, guys!
I have both XP and 7 on my computer and they are working fine, but since I'm doing most of my work on XP I want it to be the first choice when the my PC in booting. How could I change it? Now there is a prompt asking me to choose OS, as you know, and I always forgot about it and after 30 sec Win 7 starts. How can I make Xp the default choice?
    Thanks in advance.

Hi scuderia and Welcome to the forums.
Go to Control PanelSystem and SecuritySystemAdvanced System Settings.
Under Startup and Recovery, click on the Settings tab.

Now Under Default Operating System, Select Windows XP from the drop down menu.

    Hello scuderia,

    Welcome to 7 Forums.

In 7, type msconfig in the start menu search box and hit enter. Select boot tab and highlight XP. Click set as default. Check make settings permanent (not sure that's necessary for this, but won't hurt). Apply or OK to set.

    Hope this helps.

Didn't know that. Haven't ever used XP. Learn something new every day :)
