Need advice on MBR vs UEFI signatures, consider going win7 to 10

Windows 8 Laptop (Toshiba satellite L855-S5383)
Did Clean install w/ Win7 Ultimate
Currently dual boting win7 and Linux (ubuntu 14.04)

**This/ese question have nothing to do w/ Linux****

If I upgrade from Win 7 to 10, will I be able to revert back ? (created the restore point, along with a system image).

    !!Biggest question!!

In order to take my win 8 laptop and install win 7, I had to go from UEFI to MBR. Through research I'm hearing that win 10 will be a bit more MBR friendly as opposed to the (even more) anti-social UEFI.

(okay, you got me) - not only am I asking about MBr for convenience, this is also important to know for my linux setup as well.

Thanks in advance for your help,

    ! Cheers !

UEFI is the new replacement for BIOS so I would install to UEFI by turning off CSM or Legacy Mode in BIOS and booting disk as UEFI device to delete all partitions so it resets disk to GPT.

I don't know if Linux supports it however.

If you're happy with it and not curious about new features you're missing then you can however stick with Legacy BIOS which works fine for 10.
