    Windows Upgrade with dual boot

    Hi all,
Im afraid i need your help again
I would like to install 7022 onto my hard drive. Problem is i am unsure how to proceed because on another internal hard drive i have ubuntu installed. Now both OS are installed to different hard drives yet ubuntu has its boot manager installed and this gives me the option of booting either 7 or linux.
Im just looking for some guidance as i do not want to screw over the boot manager performing an upgrade.
I have also taken a full TI image of the computer just incase. lol i have a habit of breaking things,

    Many thanks for your help

    Regards

    Hi Damoh,

You may want to have a look here which should give you some pointers ...

How to dual-boot Vista with Linux (with Linux installed first) -- the step-by-step guide with screenshots

Not sure about an upgrade install but technically It should work, although you may have to tweak grub a little, as you are replacing 7 with 7 though Ubuntu / Grub may not even notice a difference :)
