    Legal Download of Windows 7 Pro ISO


    I no longer have the legal ISO I downloaded from Digital River (now removed), and the Microsoft Software Recovery says my Product Key is not valid for English!

    Is there a legal alternative?

    Your system specs states "Homebrew".

    The Iso you downloaded originally from Digital River was an un-activated version, and would have given you up to 30 days to activate from a purchased OEM builders/Retail licence, which you will need to re-enter to validate the install, as far as i know the English/Non English keys are easily identifiable by the MS servers, hence the not valid.

    Where did you get your key.

    Could you also repost in the windows update/activations sub-forum and post the required files.

Do Microsoft mind if I use someones downloaded copy of Windows 7 RC provided that I get my own key code which they are still issuing? If so I really would like a copy of the latest build of 64bit
