    Windows 7 Home premium

    Hi.
I have windows 7 home premium with full licence.
Over the past weeks I have been waiting for the Windows 10 icon to appear in the taskbar,But nothing has come.
So today I decided to have a good look into this situation.

First of all I found a Microsoft info on the problem,It was a piece of software called ''Checking Application Eligibility''.
I gave it a run it took a while to determine what was wrong it said that the issue was the KB2952664 update,So I went to uninstall that update then restart then installed that item again another restart.
Ran the Microsoft program once again and the result this time was that the KB2952664 has not been run.

Went to google to see what the situation was there and there was quit a lot of problems regarding this issue,But most of it was confusing me as I'm not very computer technically minded.
So left al alone to see what answers I would have from here.

Please can I have some help on this KB2952664 has not run,Is it that complicated??

    Many Thanks in advance.

Forget about upgrading to Win 10 via Windows Update. Instead, use the Media Creation Tool to download and install the upgrade.

Found this, 5th post in the thread, don't know if it will help or not: 10 Upgrade Problems: KB2952664 has not been run

If the above method doesn’t work for you, try the below one.

    1. Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Schedule Tasks
    2. Task scheduler library > Microsoft > Setup >
GWXTriggers , select ‘refreshgwxconfig-B’ and run it.
