    Win-10 upgrade on a customized Win-7 install

    Hello,

Have a machine where during Win-7 64-bit Pro install, I used a tutorial on this forum to set my Users folders to data partition etc.

Was wondering if I need to take some steps before accepting Win-10 upgrade from windows updates.

    Thanks,

As long as your data is safe, you`d probly just have to re link the folders.

    Not sure I understand that.

I never linked the folders. While installing Win-7 I followed the tutorial to set the custom location of Users folders. So, is there something similar that one can do while installing Win-10 or are there steps that one has to take after installing Win-10.

    Thanks,

Sounds like you used one of Kari's tutorial's, he covers the process for what I think you are asking in this tutorial,

Users Folder - Move Location in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

There's an upgrade section at the bottom of the tutorial.
