Hi Folks,
Well I'd like to let you all know that I succesfully burned the ISO using imgburn @ 4 x speed and it's working fine.
Just to test it i restarted my pc and set my DVD drive as main boot drive, and then I got the prompt "Press Any key to boot from CD/DVD" just like with my original Windows 7 disc.
So Now I have a Disc that has Service Pack 1 encorporated on it, I want to run a repair install of my system as a few things are playing up but I have some questions.
- I installed Service Pack 1 manually (Via download from MS Site), can I simply insert the new disc and run a repair install by clicking upgrade, since SP1 is currently installed?
-Will it wipe any data, I don't mind having to reinstall Motherboard Drivers, Chipset drivers etc, but I'd like to be able to keep my installed games (On a Seperate HDD)
Will await to here from the Seven community, but for anyone who has an OEM key for Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit, it appears you can download the MS site listed in my original post, you just have to enter your product key wait about 30 seconds to validate and then select your language, and select your download (Note I used Chrome browser) not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Cheers,
Chris
