Blue screen on boot but not BSOD
I am trying to fix a friends computer for them.
Initially the screen output was very corrupted (hardly readable) and the computer was constantly going into repair mode but stating that it couldn't fix itself.
They have an SSD as their windows drive and a 2TB drive for all of their other 'stuff'. When I got the computer I put the SSD drive into my computer and saw that it was almost full (it's a 120GB drive). I know that's not good for SSD drives so I removed some of their files (photos, music etc.) that had ended up on there and freed up about 15-20GB.
I've managed to fix the video output so it is stable now and during my efforts to enable the drive to boot again I have ended up a point where it gets to the windows logo for about 1 second and then goes to a light blue screen (NOT a BSOD - just a blank, light blue screen). It won't boot into safe mode or any other option from F8. I've tried using a Windows 7 rescue disk, Easy Recovery Essentials and at one point, I was using some commands in DISKPART.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
