Verifying DMI pool data stuck

Hi. I was trying to install XP on my Windows 7 so I can have dual boot up. I followed the steps here: Partition or Volume - Shrink on how to partition my disk with Disk Management, but, like an idiot, I didn't see in step 6 I had to click on that link to actually figure out how to allocate the space. So, I went ahead and put in the XP disk and restarted and got to step 5 of here (in method 2 where Windows 7 is installed first): Dual Boot Installation with Windows 7 and XP and saw that I didn't have the space allocated. https://www.sevenforums.com/attachmen...xp-w7-xp-6.jpg I pressed F3 to quit so I can go back and allocate the space correctly and it said my computer would restart in 15 seconds. So I take out the XP disk while it's waiting to restart and as soon as it does restart, I can't load up Windows 7. It gets stuck at the Verifying DMI Pool data step. Please help. I'm using my dad's laptop right now to post this. Thank you very much.

Hi there, dont worry, boot from win7 dvd and select repair your computer at the Install Now screen.
Run Startup repair thrice and reboot.

I don't have a CD though. That's the thing. I have the RC version, I think. Thank you very much for your quick reply! :):) I've been so frustrated.

F8 doesn't do anything. I think it's F12 on my computer for some reason. The very first screen, at the bottom, for "Boot Menu" it says press F12. DEL goes to BIOS setup, F9 is "Xpress Recovery2" and END is QF Flash.

download the boot disk file and burn it.

Which option should I select for burning the ISO file? Sorry.. I never burn CDs unless it's music mixes, so I don't know.

Click write image files to disk, then click on the browse sign to add the Iso image. Browse the file, burn at a very slow speed like 4x. Check Verify and click the Big Write button at the bottom to start burning.

It's burning right now. It finished. Then ejected the disk. It asked me to close the disk tray (cuz I'm on a laptop right now) and it seems like it's burning it again? Or maybe verifying? Or maybe it was just formatting it the first time. Iono, it was a blank disk haha.

Edit: K, it just said it was successful - thank God. Now just pop it in my desktop and do boot from CD?

It's in my computer. It's asking me if I wanna use recovery tools blah blah blah OR if I wanna restore my computer using a sstem image you created earlier. I assume the latter, right? I'm just trying to be 100% certain so I don't mess something up like last time...
