Did you buy a retail or oem version of Windows 7 or not ?

Why are you using the word upgrade ?

Please explain.

Sounds like you just have a bad dvd rom to me.

If you just need a new install dvd then download the iso file from here and burn to dvd at no faster then x4 speed, using this simple program. (or just use windows)

Yep that code finder is very similar to the Magic Jelly Bean in Brinks tutorial one and gives the same results only all at once - better idea:)

I personally use PowerIso, but that`s not free.

Yes mate I never knew it was there to be honest always fiddled around with ImgBurn which I still find a bit convoluted and the YouTubes on it go too fast

Mind you I ma so glad I saved those ISO's when they were still available form Heidoc eh

Why did you give up ? I gave you the means to create a Windows 7 install dvd and you said you have a key so........ Why resort to Windows 10 ?

And you could have just as easily created a usb installer.

How did you install 10 ? Through windows upate ?

Yep I believe just with installing from a 10 iso file you can finally activate win-10 with a oem or other qualifying os activation key
There's no need to live through the upgrade process anymore.
