Moving from unbootable 32-bit MBR W7 to 64-bit UEFI W7

Hello all,

I'm trying to upgrade my dad's computer for Christmas. We (the family) have bought him the new PC parts, and the whole thing is assembled, but he can't know about it. Because he needs to use the older computer, and the new hard drive we bought is faster, it only made sense to leave his old drive in his computer so he is unaware of the upgrade, and clone that old drive to another one (the new 2TB drive had not arrived in the mail yet). Now I have what appears to be a still-intact 100GB copy of his old drive, on a different 160GB drive. His old computer used MBR, and this new one uses UEFI. I would just clone the entire 160GB drive to the 2TB drive, but the MBR partition is out of whack. I tried many different things to restore it, but it's not working and I'm having a really hard time with this. I may have another chance to clone the drive this week, but I'm really not sure it'll work. The only Windows 7 disk I own is a 64-bit one, which does nothing to restore the backup. I created a system repair disk (or whatever it's called) using BootCamp on my Mac (writing this from that). I currently have the capability to boot into OSX 10.7, 32-bit Windows, and 32-bit Ubuntu 11.04. What should I do?

Edit: Posted the specs of the new build in the "My System Specs" field, as well as the stats of my MacBook.

Have you enabled Legacy boot in the Bios ?
