    Wiindows 10 Pro v1511, 10586 failed with error 80070003

I have a Toshiba Satellite that was upgraded from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I received my invitation from Microsoft to download and upgrade to Windows 10 Pro in early December 2015. I ran the program to verify that my hardware would run Windows 10 Pro x64 and included info about my laptop in my profile.I have run Windows Update Program and receive the message that Windows 10 Pro v1511, 10586 failed with error 80070003 (unknown error). I have tried to upgrade a total of 15 times and from my observations, some installed updates have been uninstalled and will not install again. Case in point, KB890830 Win malicious software removal tool was installed on 17 Nov 2015, but is showing that the update is missing and the update to install it again failed. I also have four (4) other updates that state they failed to install. KB3106614, KB3104002,, KB2901983 and KB3102429. Thanks in advance for your help.

Tried to upload CBS.zip, but was > 3GB and timed out. Should I clear it somehow and re-run Win Update and try to recreate CBS.zip??

I solved my problem by Stopping Windows Update, Clearing the Windows\Logs file. Deleting (admin mode) CBS files, emptying the trash file, Re-Starting Windows Update, Re-Downloading the Upgrade and 4 1/2 hours later, the Download finished cleanly. Four more hours later, I am up on Windows 10. Now to learn how to navigate Windows 10. My decision to clear CBS file came about by the fact your site did not upload my CBS.zip file because it was bigger than the size you allow. Thanks for being here for me and now I shall explore the tenforums.
