Asks for permission everytime I restart even thought UAC turned off

I have windows 7 64 bit on a Dell Optiplex.

I installed a program and every time I reboot windows 7 asks me for permission to run the program.

I have changed the user account controls to never notify, but it still comes up every time I reboot.

    Any ideas?

    uac

    Couple of things
That option is only for a standard user, if your running as admin it will be ignored.

    To completely dissable UAC
use the following registry change, although its not recommended

Run Registry Editor (RegEdit) and navigate to the following registry key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
    Locate the following REG_DWORD value:
    EnableLUA
Set the value of EnableLUA to 0..

If your BSOD thread has been solved please mark it so.

It says value of 0 and still asks me permission at startup.

You could try removing the program. Reboot and install the program again.
I have never used such a program so my knowledge of it is limited.

If YOU have not changed it then (0 is NOT the default),
Its possible that malware has caused it,
or have you used any tune up utility?
