    Windows 7 Professional not expanding

    Hey everyone,

I am having trouble with windows 7 installation. Every time I try to install windows 7 professional, it goes to expanding windows files and stays at 0% and I tried this with 3 dvd-rs that I put windows 7 on through Microsoft dreamspark, and I keep trying to put it on my new western digital blue 750 gig hard drive

    Can someone please help

Please fill out your system specs. See here: How to See Your System Specs with "System Info"

What OS was originally on the computer? Are you trying to downgrade to Windows 7?

What program are you using to create the DVD from the downloaded ISO?
I recommend using Imgburn and select 4X or the slowest speed possible.

If you are using DVD-R then try DVD+R.

    My system specs are,
CPU-AMD A4-3305M APU with Radeon HD Graphics
    Motherboard- Hewlett-Packard 1805
    BIOS-InsydeH2O Version CCB.03.61.09F.1C
    Total Memory (RAM)- 6GB
HDD-Toshiba MK3265GSX H ATA Device, trying to install Windows 7 Professional on to a Western Digital Blue 750GB HDD
Sound Card- AMD High Definition Audio Device
Graphics Card- AMD Radeon HD 6480G
    Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
And I am using Windows Disc Image Burner to burn the disc.
Originally Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit was on here but it crashed then I reformated the hard drive and put Windows 10 on here then that crashed so I put Windows 7 Professional on here and it has been working ever since

So why aren`t you reinstalling Home Premium ?

Do you have a key for Pro ?

You most likely have a bad installer, where did you get the Pro iso file from ?

Download a fresh iso or create one from your HP disc, use this program to burn the iso file at no more then x4 speed.

When windows crashed, there was no way to get Windows 7 Home Premium back since it wouldn't even boot off the hard drive and that meant no recovery or anything so a new version of windows had to be installed and we didn't have a windows 7 home premium disc at the moment. I do have a key for pro. I got the iso off of Microsoft Dreamspark

Since you have a key, download a fresh iso from here and burn with software and instuctions from my other post.

    Microsoft DigitalRiver Mirror

If you have a 4 GB flash drive, you can also install windows with that.

I use this program to put the iso on a flash drive.
