Windows won't install, a required CD/DVD driver is needed

    OK, it`s because windows 10 has the usb drivers in it, so that tells us something. :)


    So here`s my theory, you are going to have to get the chipset drivers or the usb drivers for that machine and put them on the usb stick, during the install when it asks for the drivers, see if you can insert/install them.

    I hope an expert on this chimes in with some more advice.

    That's exactly what I was thinking but I can't find the drivers anywhere and I would have to load them off of the hard drive instead of the USB drive because in the browse menu it doesn't recognize the flash drive.

    They now make usb 3.0 flash drives, what make and model do you have ?

    The drivers are at the pc makers website, but since this pc was never made for 7, there may be no drivers.

    So your quest may ne in vain.
