When it is time to enter the key in this process, will it work?

I have ordered A Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit with OEM key to do in-place upgrade of my Vista Home Premium SP2 32-bit.

When it is time to enter the key in this process, will it work?

I've been working with some others and someone who seems quite knowledgeable questions if it will. This post I found seems quite definite that this process will work.

Can someone please help me out here because I am becoming so confused!

Why didn`t you start your own new thread ?

As long as the key is good, it should work fine.

I went to the link you provided, but that seems to say you need Windows 7 upgrade disk. Isn't that different from OEM disk?

He tells me you can not use an OEM disc.

You would need a Retail Upgrade disc, which are long gone.

I would clean install with your new oem disc.
