    Windows 10 upgrade

I recently upgraded my computer from Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro.

Some of my programs that ran on Windows 7 Pro no longer work.

Can I reinstall Windows 7 Pro on another drive using dual boot and use both operating systems?

    Thanks

Hello artylor, and welcome to Seven Forums. :)

I'm afraid that you can only have one or the other Windows installed at the same time unless you have a different product key to activate with.

Windows 10 is using your Windows 7 key to be activated, so if you reinstall and activate Windows 7 with the same key while Windows 10 is still installed and activated, both will eventually be deactivated.

Since this is a program issue, you might see if running that program in compatibility mode with Windows 7 selected may help.

    Hi,
    Yep
Sometimes a clean install of 10 and reinstalling all programs will help incompatibility issues.

What programs by the way ?
