Dual boot windows 7 and 10 on same computer.

Can I setup my computer to dual boot both a windows 7 Home Premium & windows 10 upgrade from disk images. I have Win7 x64 which has been my mainstay, then I upgraded to Win10 to check it out. Before the upgrade, I used Macrium Reflect to do a disk image of my computer. I have a 1 TB Hdd with half as the C: drive and other half as E: drive. Before reverting back to Win7, I did a disk image of Win10. Would I be legal to install the Win10 image to the other half of the E:drive? I don't want to totally abandon 7 until I'm much more familiar with 10. 10 is so much different to 7 and each time I go up to 10 I learn a little more. Once I get more familiar with 10 I'll stay with it.

If I can legally do so, does anyone know of a good tut as to set up a dual boot on 1computer. I do have a 1tb external Hdd connected with e-SATA for storage

Excuse the large print, I have vision issues.

    Hi,
You're in violation using both in dual boot
One or both may throw a not genuine message eventually

The image of win-7 should not be used if you want to use win-10
It is for to restore 7 after you backout of win-10 using win-10's system restore before the 30 days expires and the windows old folder is removed,
If you wait longer you may have to clean install win-7 many oem's have had issues being tagged as not genuine
Could be because they were but it's happening quite a bit.

So do not dual boot with 7
Use 10 or not but you only have 30 days to decide.

It would not be legal, you can`t upgrade to 10, and then revert back to 7 and keep both.

You can`t have your cake and eat it too, been dying to say that :)

If you want to run 10, just become an Insider and run the Preview, or whatever they`re calling it at this point.

Even the insiders tour so's to speak requires a qualifying os activation key and to use a M$ account as login..
No telling when M$ will eat it either they make the rules as they go along
