Secure Boot Violation when trying to set CD drive to install Win 7
Hi All,
My son dropped a book on his Samsung Np355V5C at uni the other week and cracked his screen. So now he is home for easter I've changed the screen but he has killed the hard disk at the same time though I am able to recover his docs using easeus recovery program.
I have gone and got him a new 1TB western Digital Hard drive today and fitted it but had the following problems when i tried to install Windows 7 Pro
I read through your clean install guide and reset the BIOS to defaults but when i then change the boot proirty to cd i get a red label saying
Secure Boot Violation
Invalid Signature detected. Check secure Boot Policy in Setup
OK
After restoring to defaults the boot order looks like this
Boot option Priorty
Boot option 1 [Windows Boot Manager (P0: WDC WD10JPVX-22JC3T0)
Boot Option 2 [Windows Boot Manager (P0: WDC WD10JPVX-22JC3T0)
Boot Option 3 UEFI: TSSTcorp CDDVDW SN-208DN
I have a windows 7 pro disk which has worked previously so could use some help please.
I dont' understand what is going wrong
Cheers
