Looking for Windows 7 Pro 64 ISO for Reinstall (Have key)

Hi all,

I'm looking for an ISO of Windows 7 Pro 64 to reinstall onto my HP Elitebook 8460p. I wiped my hard drive and stupidly didn't make a recovery disc before doing so and am now left with a notebook without an OS. HP no longer carries the recovery discs and Microsoft doesn't offer the download anymore. I have the key and do not want to pay for another copy of 7. Can anyone help me out?

Thank you all in advance!

Hi and welcome.

Try here:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...nload/windows7

You could also borrow one from a friend as long as the version, Home Premium, Ultimate, etc., matches your key.

Hi there,

Thanks for the suggestion. I get the following error message when entering my key on the Microsoft site: "The product key you entered appears to be for software pre-installed by the device manufacturer. Please contact the device manufacturer for software recovery options." HP doesn't have any more recovery kits in stock for my model and won't offer any more help other than suggesting I try 3rd party sites or buy another license. I also don't know anyone who still runs 7.

Either of these should be fine:

X17-58997.iso en_windows_7_home_premium_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_676549.iso

Note that they are torrents so you will need to install a torrent client.
I use qBitTorrent.

The first link has this blurb in it:

Download Windows 7 torrent

To download Windows 7 using a torrent file, we will need a torrent client. In the example, we will be using the popular torrent client qBittorrent.
