Cannot get windows 7 to boot up

Not sure why my last thread was deleted but....
I cannot get windows 7 to boot up so I can do a clean install. I have extracted all the files from winrar and burned all of them as data to a dvd disk. Yes I have my dvd drive selected as the first boot option. I even tried doing the USB method and that doesn't boot up eaither. any help?

You cannot boot a data disk. You need to download an ISO image and burn as image to DVD, then boot.

Otherwise you can extract the files to the desktop or run the data disk you created from within Windows and run Setup from there.
