Is it really possible to clean install win7 with GPT on 160GB HD?

hi what is the best way to go about this? should i disable ie8 first, then launch off clean install of ie11 x64? i don't want to patch up from default installed ie8. also, i noticed the directory still exists in program files x86 should i/can i remove those.

Hey, I currently have Windows 7 Build 7264 64-bit, and I have a lot of apps installed. I don't want to lose them, so I want to upgrade. Can I do this with my specs? (64 bit, 7264) Upgrade to 7600 RTM. If I can't, how can I keep my apps through a clean install?
