Bootmgr is missing

I am not a newbie but i have a big problem that i can not solve
I have a sony laptop that does not boot. I turn on the laptop and after showing the viao mark it says:

Bootmgr is missing...

Now it gets fun!
1- the dvd drive does not work, it has't been working for years
2- the laptop can not boot from flash drive or external hdd. The usb ports have not been working for some time.

I have already taken the hdd out and and used it as a external hdd on my other laptop and the hdd is fine.

So here is my question:

Is there a way to fix the problem of bootloader of this laptop without using usb or dvd methods?

For the love of god help me

Here you go
Bootmgr is missing - Fix

Then i suggest you run sfc /scannow,
to try and fix CD/usb problems.

Did the working laptop come with Windows 7, 8, or 10? If it came with Windows 7 you can maybe try this. Take the hard drive out of the working computer and replace it with the one from the broken computer. Do a clean install of Windows. Don't add any drivers because sysprep will just remove them. Once Windows is installed. Open the Run box and type sysprep. I'm giving you instructions from a Windows 10 machine but they should be similar. This brings up Windows Explorer with sysprep.exe in the window. Double click on sysprep.exe and that should start the System Prepration Tool. You can also search for sysprep and then double it. That should be the same thing.

Now that the sysprep tool is started choose "Enter System Out-Of-Box Experience (OOBE)". Mine came with it already selected. Next place a check mark in Generalize. Next choose Shutdown.

Remove the hard drive from the computer put it back in the broken one. Windows should be ready to install.

I would not try this if the working laptop came with Windows 8 or 10. That has UEFI and not your normal BIOS. None of my computers have UEFI so I'm not familiar with it. There is a way to do this with UEFI but you will need help from someone else.

Just to let you know, I have never done this but I think it should work.

BOOTMGR is Missing
At first glance this may seem like a simple bootmgr issue. Run Startup Repair with a Windows install disc, use bootrec.exe, etc. But these don't work. Startup Repair complains that its version is not compatible with the version of the Windows installed. I do not know why, but here is how I got...
