cannot do an in-place upgrade on my. Windows seven PC

Hey friends, I have been trying to do an in-place upgrade on my PC because of continual windows explorer crashes, however, when the installer tries to check for compatibility, I get a message that the install cannot continue due to Lenovo ADP composite device. I think it was installed when I installed the software for my Lenovo tablet to connect an Android device to a PC. I am at my wit's end and extremely frustrated. If anyone can tell me how I can get rid of the Android connection software (probably some kind of driver), please let me know. By the way, it does not show up in device manager.

Do you see any sign of that software when you look in C Program Files or in C Program Files (x86)?

Or in Control Panel/Programs and Features?

Do you reject the idea of a clean Windows install?

Hi,
Indeed do you need installation media we can offer direct downloads
Just specify exact version 7 home premium/... 32 or 64 bit and language

Or you can get it yourself if you have net framework 4.6.1 installed
Microsoft Windows and Office ISO Download Tool

After that all you need is the activation key usually on the bottom or inside the battery compartment on a laptop.

Installation is pretty straight forward just refer to post #2 here
windows update

Creating the installation media is also very easy

No, ultimately I'm afraid that's where I'm headed.

In answer to your first question, no sign of any software or devices in either location.

Hi,
The only real tricky part is making sure you get the wifi driver if you only have wireless internet access from the manufactures website
Along with the chipset and touchpad drivers too.

Most machines will also have a tag with a snid that makes searching for the machines drivers easier
You'll need probably a magnifying glass to read it

Look in Device Manager and see if you can find the device.
It might be listed under USB devices.
If you find it in Device Manager, see if you can uninstall it.

In-place upgrade windows 7 64 bit ultimate sp1
From windows 7 64 bit ultimate sp1 to windows 7 64 bit ultimate sp1 I do have to note I accidently deleted a partition with 100 games some weeks ago which caused some not clean leftovers in registry, but they are only games, not a single system/ application. So I don't think this is a cause for...

In-place upgrade?
I am a strong advocate of clean installs. Having said that, I have too many programs that would require reinstallation, so I'm seriously considering an in-place upgrade from Vista Ultimate 32 to Windows 7 Ultimate 32. I was wondering if anyone here has done this upgrade and can provide some inupt...
