    Help - going from win 7 32bit to 64bit

    Hi guys,

So I upgraded to Win7 32bit, but now I bought a 64 bit version as well. However, i burn the ISO for it (digital download) and when I put it in it errors out telling me the install disk cant upgrade my installation, which I understand.

However, I put the disk in and try to boot from it and the comptuer doenst even give me the option to boot from the disk!

    Whats the deal!?!?

    Hello Amorak,

Did you use a program like ImgBurn to burn the ISO to the DVD?

Double check in the BIOS to make sure that you have the CD/DVD drive listed first in the boot order and the hard drive as second in the boot order.

Are you able to boot from any other bootable DVD on those computers that you know work just fine on any other computer?

Does it boot from the DVD on the 64-bit computer?
