XP desktop & Windows 7 laptop

Hi, I have just joined the forums, I have bought my granddaughter a laptop with Windows 7 64 bit on it. My daughter's desktop has Windows XP Home Premium & I want to use a router to make them both wireless. Will the laptop work from the desktop even though it is an older version of windows installed in it. I want to keep the laptop as a Christmas present & for getting good marks with her exams, so I will have to have the setup running before Xmas day, any help will be thankfully recieved. Mac

Yes, a friend has Windows 2000, Vista and a common printer and they all work with wireless. We are assuming that both computers have wireless capablitites. If they do it will work, you just have to enjoy.
