Windows 7: My Kernel-Power Woes

Windows 7

Ya, nothing's working. Damnit. I suppose one can argue "a hardware breakdown, if didn't happen now, is only waiting to happen in the future" but seriously, with my old setup, I was running intense games for hours with no problems at all (mostly Fallout 3), and after trying win7 I'm up the creek and need to RMA my mobo. A bit of a pain. I've been in denial (or at least I was only 99% sure that it was mobo), and now that I'm 100% certain I've just gotta get over it.

Windows 7 x64 finally!

Wiser, I don't know that for a fact, but I heard Win7 runs the processor hotter than Xp, what makes me think it stresses the hardware in a different way. Sort of those muscles you find out you have after playing some sports you are not used to.
Just a theory (and may be nonsense) and not a solution for your problem either. I hope it works better with the new board. Let us know if it works, that can help other people too. Or if you need additional help
