Recovery Partition Deletion

I have tried to Delete my Recovery Partition on my Acer Netbook but it doesn't work. I have the boot files on the C: Drive. My Recovery Partition has nothing on it.
I have used the cmd
select volume 1
active volume 1
delete volume 1
and than cmd freezes up on me and all i can do is close the program or check for online solution
than after i try
select volume 1
active volume 1
delete partition
i get an error:
"Cannot delete a protected partition without the force protected parameter set."

I have also tried to go in the Disk Management section and delete the Recovery Partition but when I select it, I can only click on settings.

Help!
How can I make the Recovery Partition become usable?

Why not do it in Disk Management, without all the lines of code,

You also made the partition active.

I have tried Disk Management, but when I select the Recovery Partition there is no delete option. All I can choose from is Refresh and Settings.

Those Acer EISA partitions need a force override Diskpart command given here:

Delete and Remove to Unlock EISA Hidden Recovery or Diagnostic Partition in Vista My Digital Life

Then use free Partition Wizard to gather the space into your existing Windows 7 partition, or use the booted Windows 7 DVD installer Custom Advanced drive tools to create new partition(s) then format before install.

You may also need to run the EISA Diskpart delete commands from the Windows 7 DVD repair console Command line.

Thanks Gregrocker!! However, now when I go into Disk Management all I get is to select Refresh, Properties and Settings. The only partition that I can Delete is the one that has all of the information on it. Is there a way to transfer the data over to the other partition?

Did you delete the recovery partition using the Diskpart commands given in the tutorial linked above, then folllow the steps also given to recover the deleted partition space?

Please post a screenshot of your full Disk Management map using the Snipping Tool in Start Menu, attach file using paper clip in reply box.

The way to transfer data between partitions is via explorer.

Start by accessing partition in Computer.
