If you don't want to download ISO again, then check the HASH to make sure it is intact.
    Windows 7 RTM SHA-1 hash / checksums
HashTab... is the coolest thing ever!

Then Verify your ISO is bootable and against the DVD using ImgBurn Verify Disk.

I'm having the same problem and read the whole thread. I contacted Microsoft support and they say MSDNAA gave me a product key for Win7 Enterprise instead of my downloaded Win7 Pro X64. Would this cause any problems, especially since I can't even get to the screen to enter the key?
I've downloaded the file three times total at two separate locations. The install always starts up fine but none of these .iso images match with the hashes on the website you linked to.

I would contact MS again, open a support case based on their providing the wrong key and have them provide you a correct key with a DVD.

Your retail purchase with MS includes tech support. They are supposed to help you until your issue is resolved or elevate it to a research team.

This is their company policy. Let us know if they are following it.

That laptop should run Win7, but first run Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to see if any issues are flagged.

The installer is driver-complete, with any newer drivers quickly delivered via optional Windows Updates after install. Put your wireless driver on a stick or CD so if it´s needed you can install it and get online quickly to update your drivers. If any drivers are then missing in Device Manager, you can use the Vista drivers on the Dell Support Downloads page for your model here: http://support.dell.com/support/down...&catid=&impid=

I would strongly consider doing a Clean Install to avoid importing corruption from Vista by in-place Upgrading. You can adapt the steps in the Perfect Reinstall link in my signature below to end up with the best possible install.

Let us know if you have any further questions.
