Have 7022, can I upgrade to latest? I have Windows 7 Build 7022. Is it possible/safe to upgrade to 70xx (Where xx > 22), or do I have to do a fresh install (Format driver...)?
Also, is 7048 downloadable from anywhere?

Yes you can upgrade but it is recommended to do a fresh install, the upgrade will take 1 - 2 hours and a fresh install will take about 20 minutes, so depending on how much you have installed sometimes a fresh install may take less time then an upgrade and that also ensures that everything will be installed without issues.
It really comes down to personal choice and I have upgraded myself and so have many others, some people have had no problems with this method and some have ended up having to do a fresh install anyway, so it's up to you. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Brew OS Windows 7 Ultimate Vista Ultimate x64 CPU Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16Ghz @ 3.8Ghz Motherboard eVGA 750i FTW Memory 2x2Gigs Patriot PC2-6400 LL Graphics Card Inno3D GeForce GTX260 216 SP Monitor(s) Displays ASUS VW222U 22" 2ms Response time Screen Resolution 1680x1050 Keyboard Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard Mouse Logitech G9 Gaming Mouse PSU HYTEC 600W & Thermaltake 650W Toughpower Power Exp Case Thermaltake Armor LCS (Liquid Cooling System) Cooling Liquid Cooling System Hard Drives SATA 150GB

I think you will find, if you browse, that by far the largest percentage of bug finding are coming from upgrades. Builds are not really intended for upgrading and are only internal for bug hunting corrections to feedback issues. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Three desktops and one laptop with good specs.. I have build 7048 burned on a DVD and ready to install. I am running build 7000 on my main system with no issues and was considering doing an upgrade....but..
I think I will wait for RC1 or RTM before doing a fresh install on my primary desktop.
Haven t done much tweaking on build 7000 I just don't want to take the chance of starting all over again just for a Beta release.
Thoughts and/or suggestions? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Low Rider !! Dual Boot? I have 7048 running almost 100% in a dual boot with 7000. I would nearly consider runing 7048 in preference to Vista, as it looks from here, as my main OS! | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Three desktops and one laptop with good specs.. Fresh install is probably what I will get as a reply to this question, but I don't feel like taking a chance on having to re-install some audio drivers etc.
Best just to be happy with Windows 7 build 7000 and wait for RTM or GA?
Remember I am running a dual boot with XP SP3 and Windows 7 build 7000 | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Low Rider !!
