Out of range error please help!!!! I've formatted a partition on my drive and installed it, but every time it boots now my monitors switch to a black screen with "out of range".
I'm not a pro or a novice, and realised it was to higher throughput for the monitor and hooked it up to my 32" hd tv in order to access the system.
Having been able to run windows update through 7 I assumed this would fix my problem.
Having put my system back on the oringal setup, it still displays this message so I wonder if any one can please shed some light on this please.
Thanks

That means that you have set the resolution set too high for your monitor. Try setting the resolution to something really low, like 800x600, then hooking up the monitor in focus. You can work up from there. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU Intel i7 2600K OC'd @ 4620 MHz Motherboard Asus P8Z68-V Pro Memory 16GB GSkill Sniper 2133 Mhz (4x4GB) Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 480 SuperClocked+ Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays 2x Acer S273HLbmii 27" Screen Resolution 2 x 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech MK320 (wireless) Mouse Logitech MK320 (wireless) PSU Corsair HW Series 750w (modular) Case Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced Blue Edition Cooling CM Hyper 212+ CPU cooler, 3x 230mm + 1x 140mm case fans Hard Drives 64GB Crucial M4 SSD

Is there a driver installed yet for monitor? How about a newer video driver? Check windows updates.
Change screen resolution and refresh rate, then try monitor again. Repeat until it works. | My System Specs

I have hooked it up to an HDTV as my previous post states and and connected it downstairs directly to the router.
I did not need to lower the resloution because of that.
Having it failed i can get into the system via safe mode but cannot normally.
It just says out of range but i can hear windows starting to the desktop. | My System Specs | | OS XP, Vista & 7 CPU i7 930 Motherboard MSI x58 PRO-E Memory 6GB DDR3 Graphics Card Gigabyte GTS 250 Sound Card Sound Blaster Audigy Monitor(s) Displays Advent X19W (Dual) Screen Resolution 1024x768 Keyboard Microsoft Fingerprint Keyboard PSU 850w Hard Drives 1) 500GB

Yes, that makes sense. Your HDTV can handle a higher resolution and refresh rate than your monitor can. Try turning the resolution and refresh rate down. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU Intel i7 2600K OC'd @ 4620 MHz Motherboard Asus P8Z68-V Pro Memory 16GB GSkill Sniper 2133 Mhz (4x4GB) Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 480 SuperClocked+ Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays 2x Acer S273HLbmii 27" Screen Resolution 2 x 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech MK320 (wireless) Mouse Logitech MK320 (wireless) PSU Corsair HW Series 750w (modular) Case Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced Blue Edition Cooling CM Hyper 212+ CPU cooler, 3x 230mm + 1x 140mm case fans Hard Drives 64GB Crucial M4 SSD

You may need to lower the resolution or change the refresh rate in order to get the monitor to work correctly - not to use it on the HDTV.
You may also need to switch out video driver in safe mode, and install the monitor driver. | My System Specs

I've set the rez to 1024x768 at 60Hz it was natively at 1300xsumthing..... which is HD format.
I really cannot figure out why it's still not working having saved the graphic settings and booted up again only to find it still saying out of range.
My monitors are both X19W LCD Wide screen says it supports max 1440x900 @ max horizontal freq 55.94Hz and Verti freq 59.89Hz
If thats any help??? | My System Specs | | OS XP, Vista & 7 CPU i7 930 Motherboard MSI x58 PRO-E Memory 6GB DDR3 Graphics Card Gigabyte GTS 250 Sound Card Sound Blaster Audigy Monitor(s) Displays Advent X19W (Dual) Screen Resolution 1024x768 Keyboard Microsoft Fingerprint Keyboard PSU 850w Hard Drives 1) 500GB

Once im actually in windows 7 via hdtv i can set the res to 1024x768 but when i start the comp back up 2mins later it says out of range.
windows update seems to solve most peoples "out of range" error except mine.
How irritating!!!!!!!!!!!! | My System Specs | | OS XP, Vista & 7 CPU i7 930 Motherboard MSI x58 PRO-E Memory 6GB DDR3 Graphics Card Gigabyte GTS 250 Sound Card Sound Blaster Audigy Monitor(s) Displays Advent X19W (Dual) Screen Resolution 1024x768 Keyboard Microsoft Fingerprint Keyboard PSU 850w Hard Drives 1) 500GB

Try downloading the latest drivers for your card from the manufacturer. You will need to do this in Safe Mode. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU Intel i7 2600K OC'd @ 4620 MHz Motherboard Asus P8Z68-V Pro Memory 16GB GSkill Sniper 2133 Mhz (4x4GB) Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 480 SuperClocked+ Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays 2x Acer S273HLbmii 27" Screen Resolution 2 x 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech MK320 (wireless) Mouse Logitech MK320 (wireless) PSU Corsair HW Series 750w (modular) Case Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced Blue Edition Cooling CM Hyper 212+ CPU cooler, 3x 230mm + 1x 140mm case fans Hard Drives 64GB Crucial M4 SSD
