    I guess for regular SATA devices, they're supposed to be plugged into the SATA4 and SATA5 ports. I restores bios to defaults with the drives in those ports and it recognized them in BIOs for the IDE Channel 1 master and slave. Windows 7 still wouldn't recognize them.

    Yea, but it really mostly goes in depth on how to set up RAID. And the SATA4,5 thing, a friend of mine who is an IT guy was the one who told me that.

    Gigabyte support is less than supportive, I plan on calling them tomorrow but I'm not sure if they even do tech help over the phone.
