| | Windows 7 upgrade showing ghost programs in install. Hey there, am trying to upgrade from Vista to Windows 7. After the compatibility checkup is complete I see a message saying that Kaspersky Anti Virus is either preventing or will damage the installation during upgrade and it will not let me continue until I have "uninstalled it from my system". However I've never even heard of the program until today and there's no trace of it on my system. Please help. |

| | Type the name of the program in search. See if any folders come up. If so you can delete them. |

| | Thanks for your help. Nothing shows up in search and I can't find a trace of it in Windows Install Clean up. I can't find any other removal program. Any suggestions? |

| | All these anti virus programs are tough to remove. Go to the website of the a/v Kaspersky and look for the removal tool, it should be there. |
