creating dell system disks

hi all

just setting up a friends new dell laptop create system disks - no mention in the manual how to

s511016au dell inspiron 1545 laptop.

it only came with software application disks

we rang dell and they said they don't support making disks???

For Dell Inspiron 1545, you may have DELL DataSafe Local back UP option. Please refer the link to Backup the Factory OEM Image.

You will need 2 DVD's for this. You may get Split error when you try to Burn them. Please keep trying twice or thrice and you can succeed. This Split error is a reported one. But, if you try once or twice, you should be able to do it. I just have backed up the same Yesterday. :)

i will try it next time i see her.

can't believe it is so hard to do. For her i is a must as well because she is a limewire freak. i lent her a computer last year and she returned it with a couple of torrents on it. have to say don't really like dell. the system was lagging big time for the specs on it. I told her if it is still lagging to call dell. Sad thing is she won't even know that it is lagging.
