| |      instalation stops I try to install win 7 in dual boot with preinstaling win xp home sp3. I have tried with two version, build 7000 and 7048. Allways happens the same, installation works well until restarting at point of cca. 27 % expanding files. After restarting, desktop shows : STARTING WINDOWS and stop. Any advice ? Thanks in advance. |

| | I had this happen to me. When I installed Windows 7 on another partition on my XP machine, I could not boot to XP anymore. There are other options (like that XPbootfiles.zip) but I ended up doing a new install of XP. Now they both work with the 7 boot manager. |
