Raid 5 Concerns

I am running a HP A6750F that I purchase a year ago with Vista 64bit. I have installed a Highpoint RocketRaid 2640×1 running a Raid 5 with 3 TB drives. My question is those that may have experience going from Vista64 to Windows 7 x 64 with a RAID Controller in play. Are there any issues with the Raid Controller not being seen or the array getting corrupt. I should add the RAID will not be the boot drive / partition. The RAID is purely for storage of music and video. My concern is mainly I don't have 2 TB of space to backup of my data.

Thanks for any guidance.

I have no first hand knowledge, but I have seen several problems with raid and Windows 7. One senior member commented that raid and Windows 7, do not work that well toghether.
