The boot display time can be set in the boot tab of the msconfig utility as one means to see that done.
That's simply one fast image there while there's a tutorial on this as well seen at Operating System to Start - Change Display List Time
For a 3rd party graphical tool used for editing the Vista or 7 BCD boot loader file the EasyBCD tool also sees the "change settings" part for changing the display time as well as default OS. Download EasyBCD 1.7.2 - NeoSmart Technologies Either way the time you startup you will see any change put into effect.
ty man ...i start to work on my customize boot screen
You'll like that as well. For Vista and later 7 I tried a 3rd party program limited to what was seen on their download collection only. The reg mod allows you to pick any screen in jpeg format and set it as the choice!
i change the time to 3 sec ....but i don't find anything to change the colors of the menu screen ?!?
You can't change the boot options screen there. I haven't found any way to see that changed from the basic black since that's prior to Windows loading.
The logon screen is what can see a reg entry and new folder created once you custom save an image into the new sub folder. That's something new for 7 being seen with the tutorial. Log On Screen - Change
no no no
i put a pic ...now u will undestand what i want
The colours for the boot loader screen are hard coded, You may be able to achieve what you are wanting to do by using a 3rd party boot loader
Something like Grub (as used with Linux) may be more customizable for your needs.
One such is Grub4dos here .....
Grub4dos Guide - Contents
Obviously many more varieties are available and this is just given as a starting point :)
TY man ...that i waz looking for .....but is hard to achieve....i have much to learn but not impossible !
.....read read .....cofffe read read
Yeah,
Not a single click solution, but the only way I know of ATM, someone may have developed a GUI to design a boot screen but nothing comes to mind.
The other goodie with Boot4Dos is the ability to add a splash screen too .
Just make sure you have enough coffee
and don't forget the three golden rules when messing with your bootloader, Backup, Backup, and Backup
