Delete Win XP partition, cant access Win 7 anymore

Hi,

Yesterday i wanted to remove my Win XP partition from my HD. I did it using Easeus partition manager boot cd. I deleted the win XP partition, and left it doing it all night long.

Today i cant start my Windows 7 installation. I already tried to repair the MBR with Win 7 installation disk but it didnt helped.

It says to select proper media drive to boot bla bla bla..

Any idea how i can get back to my Win 7 installation? Im waiting for help,
thanks and sorry for my bad english

Mario

PS: I tried this http://www.sevenforums.com/installat...s-7-mbr-2.html but it didnt work.

Have you tried booting from the Windows 7 DVD and doing a Startup repair?

Hi,

You need to boot the Easeus again and make sure the 7 partition is marked Active.

Then run startup repair from the 7 dvd 3 times.

Try booting to the Install DVD.
Go to the repair option or try hitting Shift+F10 to open a command window. Go to the root directory C: and type:

dir /A

Look for a folder called "Boot" and a file called "bootmgr".

If they are not there, we will need to replace them. If they are there, the startup repair should see the Windows 7 install and fix it. Make sure you are not using the restore from image for the startup repair option.
