    Recovery partition move

I recently got Windows 7 Ultimate. when i tried to upgraded it, everything goes fine after 1st boot. The screen shows up a big red error mark. I figured i have to remove the recovery partition which recover for Win Vista. Is there any that i can move to other place instead of remove it.

I have Windows Vista home premium 32 bit currently. and im trying to upgrade my Asus F8s laptop

Are you doing an in-place Upgrade or Clean install. Clean install is recommended.

Make your Vista recovery disks, back up your files, boot from Win7 DVD, Custom install, Drive Tools, delete all partitions, create new partition(s) as you wish, format then install to first partition.

Please post a new topic in Install forum and fill out your system specs in bottom left hand corner of your post.

Give the full information in the post without leaving anything out again.
