Would you mind telling us what your processor model is? If we had that we could tell you which version to use (and if you can use the x64/64-bit version).

I have a P4, 2.66 GHz. Pretty sure I need the 32 bit. I have 2 downloads from digital river of the student offer. Neither tell me what I am about to install, 32 or 64. I am hoping there is some way to tell by looking at the files in the iso. Like I said, I am not ready to complete the install just yet. I just want to make sure I d/l'd the correct iso. Both times they sent links discussing installing 64 bit (even after asking them to confirm it was 32 bit), but the iso's are different.

    Thanks

    Hi

    Check the file name.

32bit will have x86 in the name.
64bit will have x64 in the name.

32bit is screenshot 1, size of DVD is 2.32gb.

64bit is screenshot 2, size of DVD is 3.00gb.

Thanks! As you can see, no x86 or x64. But the file sizes answer my question.

With your processor, you have to use the 32-bit (x86/smaller file size) package.
