Is this Possible? Booting Leopard from External drive

    Hi...

I recently upgraded my Macbook pro hard drive with a 500GB one .. I have taken the old hard drive (it has Mac OS X and Windows 7 using Bootcamp) which is in Perfect
working condition and connected it to My Windows 7 PC using USB .. The drive is getting detected when i connect it using USB plus i can also browse the contents of the MAC partition using the MacDrive software ...

Now what I would like to do is find some way so that i can boot my PC into this Mac OS on this external drive .. Is it possible? What all do i need to do?
Some kinda bootloader? I am a total n00b at this .. so I would highly appreciate if some of you Pros could help me... Thanks!

It might be better asked in a mac forum. there are not that many mac users here. I dont know if there is any way to do that

I'm pretty sure if you hold down "option" while booting the boot selection gui will recognize external drives.
There is also a setting in system preferences to change boot order. in the search bar type in "startup disk" and it will give you the setting.
