Help get Windows 7 back? :(

Hey,
I purchased my laptop with windows vista on it. I recently purchased windows 7 online using that college discount. Just the other day my hard drive crashed and was sent a new HD with windows vista on it. I am wondering how I can reinstall windows 7 OS. PLEASE tell me it is possible. thanks

Otherwise - do you have your order number.

You could try contacting where you placed the order - I assume Digital River.

They should have a copy of the product key number .

I suppose you do whatever it says on the site - "ms fixes upgrade problems" - so it should be fine.

What bit version and Edition did you purchase?

In the future, keep a Windows 7 backup image saved externally so you can reimage HD or replacement in 15-20 minutes.
