Install methods
Hi guys,
I have a couple of questions regarding different install methods of Windows 7 (Vista as well I guess).
First of all the installation types I ask about is a bootable one, that allows you to use everything in your computer. IE not in a virtual environment.
These are the ones I am familiar with:
There is the old fashioned, insert your CD/DVD and boot from that.
There is the USB pen drive install.
What other ways of installing is there?
Is it possible to create a partition on your harddrive that you can boot from, and begin installation from there? If so how?
Is it possible to install Vista/Win7 from INSIDE a operating system with Daemon-Tools as the image mounter, and then reboot onto that?
I have 3 HDD. One is a Raptor, which I mainly use for gaming and applications. The 2 others is regular 7,2K drives with storage space on.
Lastly, the most important of my questions;
Could I create several partitions that contained installation files for vista/win7 (or others), and when I choose to boot from them I the installation screen would be brought up?
Thanks in advance.
