Windows 7 logs in to temporary profile

    Windows 7 logs in to temporary profile


    I did not delete my profile, but whenever I log in to my account, it says:
    Welcome [swirly]
    and then
    Preparing your desktop [swirly]
    ...which I know it only does when a new account is being loaded.
    Then, I'm in the temp profile. My comp is activated, as it is the RTM. Why is it doing this? How can I fix this?

    BTW: I am restoring my good ole' 7 partition; this is the new one. If this fails, I'm stuck with:
    Slow Vista
    Temp Profile 7
    and Not-optimized-for-my-computer XP.

    Try backing up all you data and booting into Safe Mode. Then delete your user account and create a new one.

I logged onto my account on my laptop, and when it loaded, a message came up saying "User logged on with temporary profile. Log in later to fix this problem." I couldn't access any of my files or folders, and it looked like a guest account. All the other accounts work. I haven't done anything out...

Since yesterday my computer would log me in with a temporary file, i kept restarting to go back to my normal profile but it once did and it said that it could not find my profile in system32 or something. The theme was changed to some older 95 version i think
