| | Moving Win 7 from one machine to another Hi Dell are goign to replace my laptop on which I have installed a full retail version of Windows 7. Is there anything I need to do on the old machine to make sure I can install and activate the operating system on the new machine? The replacement will actually be 'exactly the same' model and specification. Thanks |

| | If you already know how to clone a drive, you are all set. If Windows makes you reactivate, do so. If it gives you trouble, call Microsoft and they will take care of it. To change your thread notification, click Edit, then Go Advanced. The subscription settings are near the bottom. |
