    Cannot change files on D: Drive


    Hi everyone

    The problem i am having is that i have a C and D drive.
    I have windows installed on C. I have just done a fresh install and i have kept everything that was on my D Drive.
    Now i cannot change some things on my D drive . The things that were shared are the things i cant change.

    Can anyone help me?

    Hi and welcome to the SevenForums
    Can you open this Window by clicking the Start Button >Computer


    Then download this and install it via the tutorial.
    Take Ownership Shortcut
    Then Right click on D: and left click Take Ownership

    Right Click on D: again and click properties>Security>Click your user group>edit>then tick all the boxes to give yourself full control.
