Here is the SevenForums tutorial to create an ISO from downloaded files: Bootable ISO - Create from Installation Files

After creating the iSO, you can burn the image to DVD from the same dropdown menu.

The download was in RAR format. I extracted it to a folder which has the same content as in the image in my original post. I then just burned these files and folders to the DVD (twice, to make sure that wasn't the problem).

    Is this a Torrent download?

I have now tried all the different suggestions in this thread but I simply cannot get it to work. My problem is that I can't create an ISO file.

I've tried to follow the Make bootable iso from student d/l thread but can't get it to work.

The free isocreater suggested by computerplus seems to work but I only get a rar-archieve as a result, and not an iso-file. If I extract the rar-archieve I'm back to two .dll files plus my original folders with content as in my original post.

I don't know for sure if it was a torrent download (as you might have realized I'm not too much into what things are called) but I would guess so based on that you can start the download from MSDL and then resume the download at a later time.

Thank you for your patience with me - I really appriciate it!!

I'm using the free ISOconverter suggested by computersplus earlier in the thread. It seems to work as described only that the outcome is not the expected iso-file.

The original sourse is a web site from the msdn program (as teacher in a swedish high school): Kärrtorps Gymnasium

I tried vlite, but it doesn't recognise the folder containgn the files as expected. I have tried to rename the folder to expandedsetup (and some other names as well), but without any success.

I've done that allready. Yesterday I asked a friend to download it to his computer to see if it works better. Hopefully I will get an update about that later today or at least tomorrow. I realized now I should try also with another version, I allready have another downloaded that I will try to "ISO-fy" tonight.
