Weird XP Installation issue

Hi everybody,

Everytime I try to install Windows XP to have a dual boot with Windows 7, I get to the blue option screen where to select the hard drive I want to install Windows XP on. Then I get 4 options but they all say: No harddrive detected. Then I tried it with another CD from my mom but then it didn't even show any options.
Anybody knows how to fix this?

64-bit Windows 8.1 Pro

For right now yes... you will need to install those drivers before you continue with your installation of XP..

It seems strange to me folks would be needing SATA drivers. I have been installing on a 8 year old desktop and never needed those drivers.

Do you know if you have the SATA controller set to IDE or AHCI in the bios?

Weird Issue
Not sure if this is right place to post this however all my icon associations for Microsoft Office have suddenly reverted to a generic icon (see pic) They still load in their various programs i.e. word, excel etc but it is really annoying that the icons are not what they should be. This appeared to...
Weird issue with Upgrading vs. Clean Installation
After build 7201 was leaked earlier this week, I decided to do a clean install instead of upgrading over my RC 7100, just to be careful. The clean installation worked fine, but it said my audio driver wasn't compatible with that build. I believe Realtek put out a new driver download before or...
